I bet the world won’t end cause of terrorism, but cause of our ignorance and our inappropriate behavior concerning the conservation of our planet.

Potrivit unui studiu realizat de Ministerul Mediului şi Dezvoltării Durabile:
* un român foloseşte în medie 250 de pungi de plastic într-un an (cifrele sunt considerabil mai mari în Bucureşti şi oraşele mari), de unde rezultă că, anual, ajung la gunoi aproximativ 5 miliarde de pungi la nivel national;
* durata de utilizare a acestor ambalaje este de doar 20 de minute;
* durata medie de descompunere a pungilor de plastic este de 400 de ani.
Pe site-ul nu fi pungas gasesti mai multe detalii despre ce inseamna sa fi pungas. Pentru ca Guvernul a decis să introducă, începând cu 1 ianuarie 2009, “ecotaxa” pentru pungile din plastic si supermarket-urile vor si taxate cu 20 de bani pentru fiecare punga nebiodegradabila pe care o introduce pe piata, poate ar fi mai bine ca lumea sa apeleze de acum incolo la pungi ecologice.
