angels decoration

I got this idea for a paper craft project from a pretty shop window display. It goes very well as a decoration in the middle of a table or a shelf. You can also make it from colored paper or add some drawings, but I think it looks quite nice just in plane white. Here’s a figure of an angel you could print and cut out to make this decoration. Hope you or your kids try it, it’s very easy to make!

Mai ţineţi minte fluturii din camera mea din Danemarca. Well azi, încercând să îmbunătăţesc aspectul camerei din Amsterdam, m-am gândit să-i şi rearanjez puţin. Nu sunt foarte greu de realizat. Vă trebuie doar nişte carton colorat, de preferinţă unul lucios, o foarfecă, un creion şi nişte scoci pentru a-i lipi pe perete. S-ar putea să rămână urme de la scoci, aşa că nu-i recomand pe orice pereţi. Recunosc că nu mi-a venit mie ideea cu fluturii, ci am văzut-o la Paul Vilinski care face nişte lucrări minunate cu fluturi din metal.

Being currently on vacation I find myself having some spare time so I finally put together this little decorating project that I had in mind for quite a while. Making it took me a whole evening, but I’m pretty happy with the result. The little monsters are all made of cardboard and paper and hang on the wall above my bed.

Christmas Paper Wreath

As usually when exams are coming, I find myself doing anything else but study..soo..the other day I was browsing for Christmas decorations and I found this very nice tutorial of a Christmas paper wreath and I got busy. I think it turned out pretty well, but not as good as the original, probably because I used too many paper leaves
