Filmography 2010

Here’s a pretty amazing collage of scenes taken from movies that appeared in 2010. I recognized just a few of them as I haven’t seen many new movies this year. Here’s a list of all the films included. Thumbs up to the creator.

I recommend watching Inception, Mr Nobody, Four Lions, Let Me In, City Island, Paper Men. So what movies from 2010 did you enjoy?

Meet Buck

Buck is an ordinary guy. Well…if you except the “deer head” thing. And today, Buck is gonna spend this cool Sunday afternoon with his girlfriend who’s so happy to see him (she’s pretty much always happy). But when Buck find out that her father is not the sympathic and tolerant guy he excpected, the Sunday afternoon turns really bad.

Jean-Luc

Jean-Luc is not like the usual Gobelins animation that I’ve gotten used to, but it sure is funny as hell.  The look of the characters is very familiar to some other cartoons, but I can’t really put my finger on it. Perhaps you can figure it out and tell me.

The animation follows the story of a boy obsessed with video games that has an epileptic seizure. The scared mom, calls for an ambulance. Will the Johnny Bravo looking-like doctor succeed to bring him back to life? Find out by watching the video.

Miss Daisy Cutter

“Miss Daisy Cutter” is an animated short film directed by Laen Sanches. I’m digging the featured song which is called “Nux Vomica” by The Veils. “If Walt Disney took some bad acid this is what his trip would look like. Don’t say you weren’t warned” says the director of the animation.

New York City

I think New York is one of the very few cities I’d like to see, if I ever were to visit USA. The stories you hear about the big apple and all that, I really get the feeling that it’s an amazing place to be in. Anyone ever been there? What cities would you guys want to visit in the states?

Le Royaume

Le Royaume (The King and the Beaver) is another beautiful, funny animation by graduate students at Gobelins. Enjoy!
