Travelling

Sorry I haven’t been posting anything lately, but a lot has been going on in the last couple of days. I just came back to the Netherlands from my holiday in Romania and today I’m leaving Amsterdam. I finished my exchange semester here, so I’m heading back to Denmark where my masters thesis awaits to be written. It’s been a wonderful experience and I’ll definately miss this beautiful city, all it’s canals and pretty narrow houses and streets. I’ll miss the good beers, the stroopwafels and the many, many bicycles, for which you really have to watch out. They’re everywhere and they’re more dangerous than the cars. On another note, I just wanted to say that I hate packing. How can one have so much stuff?! I mean I don’t have a lot of clothes and I’m not obsesed about shoes, but I still have shitloads of luggage, even tough I documented myself a little about how to pack efficiently.

Anyway, next week I’ll be visiting London for a couple of days and if you have any suggestions about what not to miss while I’m there, the comment section awaits you.

clipeste!

Am auzit de curand ca a aparut un gadget foarte ingenious numit Blink Now. E un aparat de marimea unei camere web, care se pune pe monitor. Are un ecran care arata tot timpul un ochi ce clipeste. Scopul lui e sa te faca sa clipesti mai des. Cand stai ore in sir la calculator ochii tai nu clipesc atat de mult pe cat ar trebui in mod normal s-o faca si de acolo apare senzatia de durere, usturime, etc. Chestiuta asta costa aproape 50 de lire. Nu stiu cat de folositoare e, dar eu am gasit o metoda mult mai ieftina si utila. Am lipit un post-it pe marginea monitorului pe care scrie clipeste si chiar functioneaza, din cand in cand il vad si clipesc. Normal ca nu trebuie neaparat sa scrieti pe el clipeste (e cam lame nu?), poate fi si gol atat timp cat va aduce aminte sa clipiti. Poate spuneti ca e banal, dar e o problema destul de serioasa si nu-mi sugerati sa stau mai putin la calculator, ca vreau nu vreau tot am nevoie de el. Nu, nu fac reclama, hmm poate doar la post-it.

Vă promite că vă plimbă cu maşinuţa dacă o câştigă. Nu trebuie decât să introduceţi codul afişat şi atât. Ce e mişto e că puteţi face asta o dată la 24 de ore, deci puteţi da click şi azi şi mâine şi poimâine si tooot aşa! Fiecare vot înseamna 20 de puncte, iar la 1000 de puncte strânse se obţine şansa de a câştiga porshuleţul. Hai spor la votat! Vă pupix!

remember Mickey Mouse?

Am descoperit azi un site grozav cu revistele Mickey Mouse de la Egmont scanate. Ţin minte că în fiecare lună o rugam pe mama să cumpere revista. Le colecţionam şi pe cele cu Familia Flinstone, Bamse, Bugs Bunny şi pe cele cu poveşti gen Mica Sirenă, Aladin. Le-am păstrat mult timp până când rând pe rând, din lipsă de spaţiu, le-am dat altor copii mai mici. Îmi pare rău acum de ele. Mulţumesc oricum celui care a făcut acest site, a avut o idee genială. Acum mă duc să citesc, k tnx bbai

one year of living in Denmark

Last summer around this time I was arriving in Denmark after many hours spent on a bus. This past year was the best I’ve had so far. Living abroad has been great experience and I’m very grateful for it. With this occasion I’m posting some photos from my trip to Copenhagen last weekend. It wasn’t the best time to visit, as it rained heavily half of the day, so that’s why the pics are a little darker.
