If you were a musician…

what would your album look like? Here’s a little game that I saw on a blog, that answers the question. Thought it would be nice and gave it a try. Here’s what you have to do:

1. Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random” or click here. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

First article i got said 1986…and i thought that was a little dull so i clicked it again and i got a pretty good one actually : The Broken Window

2. Go to “Random quotations” or click here. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

Funny my quote is from Orah Winfrey: “I’ve learned that you can’t have everything and do everything at the same time.” So i took: everything at the same time.

3. Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click here. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

I was lucky again and got the lovely pic from here.

4. Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

yeah Photoshop right…i used plain old Paint

And voilà:

Ah this was fun, so go on, make your own album and show us what you come up with in a comment :)

yo…pretty interesting idea. reminds me of that theory which states that if a group of monkeys were able to type, using a typewriter they could reproduce shakespeare’s entire work in 100.000 years or something like that(simply combining words).
aaanyway, i indulged myself with this too…and here’s what came out:

my first search brought me info about the 80th Fighter Squadron of the US Air Force, also called “The Headhunters”, then i found one quotation stating “Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible. We’re not giving up. We’re waiting for a better opportunity to win.”(Louis McMaster Bujold..???) and then found the foto… i kinda like it 8)

Mine would probably a rip-off of the elegantly controversial cover magazine of THe New Yorker Sept. 11, 2009 edition. That would be just plain awesome and really downright introspective.
