movies, movies and some more movies

I’ve been watching a lot of new movies lately. Here’s just a couple of the ones I enjoyed.
El secreto de sus ojos is a really great movie, it won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year. It’s a crime, mystery, thriller like movie and it keeps you on your toes till the end.
An Education is a good British movie if you feel like traveling back in time in the 60′s. It’s a love story between a young girl who dreams of going to Oxford until she meets David, a guy twice her age, who changes her world.
Sherlock Holmes is a nice action, adventure comedy movie. If you like either Jude Law or Robert Downey Jr. or Guy Ritchie movies you should definitely watch it.
Adventureland is sort of your typical American teen movie. It may seem like it’s a comedy, but it really is a drama. It features Kristen Stewart, Twilight’s start and Ryan Reynolds who just isn’t very convincing in a serious role. It’s a light, weekend movie.
Sin nombre is a pretty violent, dark drama about the Honduran gangs in Central America and the people’s struggle to pass through into North America and live their dream life.
City Island is a comedy/drama with Andy Garcia and Julianna Margulies. The film is about a family in which everyone has secrets. It’s pretty boring in the beginning, but wait until everything is out in the open.
