I just love Massive Attack‘s new album called Heligoland. It’s not officially released, but it’s already out there. The song Paradise Circus has a very controversial video, which is banned from mostly all video sites, but if you want to take a look at it, visit their official web page (for over 18 only!). You can have a listen here first.
I found a very interesting short movie, filmed in 1964, showing the delights of Romania for interested British travelers. There is also one filmed during 1961 that takes a look at lovely Bucharest, eastern Europe’s little Paris. It’s funny, but I actually think the cities and the places presented looked much better then, than they do now. Click on the links below to see the clips, as they couldn’t be embedded properly.
Open doors is a logic puzzle game where you have to navigate a maze of doors to reach your goal. Use your arrows to move and press “R” to reset the game. I’m currently stuck at level 8, let me know how far you get. Enjoy!
Wake up before 11 am. Go to bed earlier. Read more books. Do more exercise. Study more. Call my friends more often. Eat healthier. Stay away from the computer as much as possible. Visit at least one foreign country. See more movies. Learn Danish. Learn to cook more dishes. Get a job. Party more. Make new friends. Go to the theater. Visit a museum. Write more on the blog. Wear my glasses all the time. Do more crafting.
These are a few of the things I want to do next year and not only next year, but in general from now on. I feel like if I share them with your guys, I have a bigger chance of making them come true. So please feel free to tell us your new year’s resolutions!
Kasabian’s Underdog is just a song I’ve been listening to a lot lately. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t have enough of it. I discovered it while watching a new small TV series called Misfits. If you enjoyed watching Skins, you’re probably gonna love this one too. It’s all about teen drama, amazingly wicked British, Irish accents and…superpowers, yes chavs with superpowers. I do have to warn you that the first season, if I can call it like that, only has 6 episodes, but they are sure worth your time. Alrightie then, enjoy the tune mates!
Boston.com published a series of amazing photographs taken in 2009, telling the story of this year. Historic elections were held in Iran, India and the United States, some wars wound down while others escalated, China turned 60 and the Berlin Wall was remembered 20 years after it came down. Enjoy all three parts:
Upular is a very nice song by Australian DJ Pogo. It’s based on samples of vocal arrangements and bass notes from Disney Pixar’s animation Up. If you haven’t had the chance to watch this movie, go ahead and do so. It’s one of the few movies from 2009 that are worth seeing. Plus, it’s really funny
