famous objects from classic movies

Famous Objects from Classic Movies is a game like hang man, but with movies and you get hints in the form of different famous objects from various films. It’s pretty cool because you can also check out the IMDB page of every movie. I spent like an hour solving it and I got 54 right and 29 wrong. Did anyone get more ? :D

Filmography 2010

Here’s a pretty amazing collage of scenes taken from movies that appeared in 2010. I recognized just a few of them as I haven’t seen many new movies this year. Here’s a list of all the films included. Thumbs up to the creator.

I recommend watching Inception, Mr Nobody, Four Lions, Let Me In, City Island, Paper Men. So what movies from 2010 did you enjoy?

Just a couple of nice movies I’ve seen lately.

How to Steal a Million (1966) is a classic comedy with lovely Audrey Hepburn and charming Peter O’Toole. I saw this on tv when I was a kid and I remembered scenes from it, but not the title nor who plays in it. I was delighted when I found out what it was called and I loved watching it for the second time.

Flickering Lights (2000) is a Danish movie with the original title Blinkende lygter. It’s an action, comedy type, but with a specific Danish dark humor that all the Danish movies I’ve seen so far have. Give it a try!

Mr. Nobody (2009) is a beautifully filmed fantasy drama that stars Jared Leto. It’s like no movie I’ve seen so far. The story line is pretty tangled, but it’s mostly about the choices we make and how they create the path in our lives. Well it’s much more than that, but I’m not very good at describing it. Just watch it when you’re in the mood for something more than a silly comedy.

A Single Man (2009) is the drama of a gay English teacher who suffers after losing his partner in a car accident. The film stars Colin Firth who makes a wonderful role and also Nicholas Hoult, whom you might recognize from tv show Skins.

Inception (2010) is a movie I saw because of all the fuss that was going around about it. It’s the first I’ve seen in a cinema in a loooong time and  I must say I made a good choice. I actually enjoyed it very much.

So… what good movies have you seen lately?
